The Child Masters Series was inspired by a collection of random childrens' drawings. A crayon drawing of a snowboarder (that happened to exactly replicate the figure in this image was the start of the series. I digitally replaced elements of masters' works with children's drawings, making them Child Masters. This image alters Vincent van Gogh's original Still Life: Vase with Twelve Flowers painted in 1888. The children's drawings, originally intended to be suns, become the sunflowers in my version of the image.
