The Child Masters Series was inspired by a collection of random childrens' drawings. A crayon drawing of a snowboarder (that happened to exactly replicate the figure in this image was the start of the series. I digitally replaced elements of masters' works with children's drawings, making them Child Masters. This image alters Grunewald's original
The Crucifixion painted in 1512. The children's drawings of a boy replace the central Jesus figure. Two weeping pencil-crayon figures surround the crucifix, replacing the original elements of the painting.
