Beneath the Blossoms is based on a visit to Quail's Gate Winery, West Kelowna, BC. While touring the grounds, I was intrigued by a tree filled with blossoms as large as two of my outstreached hands. Looking up at the pink blooms was a solid, bright blue sky, and the inspiration for this stylized floral painting.
