The Child Masters Series was inspired by a collection of random childrens' drawings. A crayon drawing of a snowboarder (that happened to exactly replicate the figure in this image was the start of the series. I digitally replaced elements of masters' works with children's drawings, making them Child Masters.This image alters Henri Rousseau's original The Sleeping Gypsy painted in 1897. The children's drawing of a tiger replaces the original lion near the sleeping figure. Stars in the night sky are integrated in my version of the painting as well.
